Mule deer on Year Round Feed Program:
( Ranch feeding 9-12 months out of the year ) These deer can receive a Recognition Award but no cash prize.

Mule deer on Supplemental Feed Program:
( Ranch feeding 4-8 months out of the year ). These deer can receive a Recognition Award but no cash prize.

Mule deer in a Typical Ranch situation:
( Deer fed 1-3 months out of the year or not feeding ).  This is the normal Trans Pecos Big Buck Tournament category. Cash prizes will be awarded in this category only.

Managed Land Deer Permit program: Ranches enrolled in MLDP may bring deer taken during the regular mule deer season which coincides with the tournament.  Deer can receive Recognition but no cash prize.
